Google just unveiled its internal meeting system as an actual product called “Chromebox”.
It says “for meetings” on the site but actually this could be an easy to setup and probably easy to use infrastructure physicians could use to interact with chronic patients in their homes. It works with basically any device, be it your TV or laptop, so it significantly reduces the barrier of entry in comparison to other systems. Heck, I could even set that up on my grandmothers TV.
Curious to see if there are going to be any healthcare-related uses.
